About Your Acupuncturists

Who is behind Blue Heart Acupuncture? Well, it started with one hopeful acupunk. Elizabeth Bruckner opened BHA and became the first Community Acupuncture Clinic in Orange County.

Our current acupunk, Lydia Au, learned about the community acupuncture model while volunteering at Lestonnac Free Clinic in Orange and instantly fell in love. She cherishes the meaningful relationships she is allowed to build with her patients due to the affordability of the sliding scale and she simply loves helping her patients feel better! She find it very satisfying to hear the snores of happy acu-nappers as they heal and rejuvenate. Lydia graduated from South Baylo University and has been a licensed acupuncturist in the state of California since 2010. She is a member of POCA, an international community acupuncture cooperative.

Blue Heart welcomes our new acupunk, Soon Lee! Soon first experienced community acupuncture in 2014 as a patient at BHA. He is passionate about providing high quality, affordable acupuncture care to people who may not have access to care at traditional clinics. He volunteers regularly at Lestonnac Free Clinic in Orange. Soon graduated Summa Cum Laude at South Baylo University, where he studied in both their masters and doctoral programs. Prior to studying acupuncture, Soon spent ten years working on the development of experimental cancer treatments at a local biotechnology firm. Soon is thrilled to be back at BHA to serve his community. When he’s not treating patients, he loves spending time with his beautiful wife and his newborn baby.

About Our Growing Staff

Because we are low cost, we need to create a strong foundation before adding additional staff.  As our practice grows, we plan on adding more acupunks to our family which means more available hours for you! But we need your help to make this a reality. So if you love us, share the love and spread the word!

Blue Heart Giving

If you are a community organization doing a fundraiser, and you would like us to donate a free first treatment for an auction or a prize, please contact us at 714-798-4325. We would be happy to help.

We also offer free pop-up acu clinics for community events. Acupuncture treatment can be very positive for people who are suffering from severe trauma and stress.

These are the ways that Blue Heart Acupuncture chooses to participate in charitable giving. Due to a variety of factors, we are not able to contribute to other types of fundraisers or campaigns. Please contact us if you have questions.
